Entries marked FDA-approved reflect US prescribing labels for the approved use only. Entries marked as approved outside the US, in clinical trials or not approved describe doses used in studies or reported by users. Those doses have not been established as safe or effective in humans.

Unapproved substances

Many substances listed here are not approved for human use and are sold without regulatory oversight of purity, identity or sterility. Listing a substance is not an endorsement of using it.

The calculator

The reconstitution calculator does arithmetic on the numbers you enter. It does not check whether a dose is appropriate, and an input error produces a wrong result. Verify every calculation yourself.
